it’s been, oh, forever?!
I haven’t actually posted on here since the end of August, aka when I left for college.
I love it here, it’s amazing. I’m having such a great time. I love my classes, I love the people I’ve met. The atmosphere is great. I’m super happy.
I’ve also been crazy busy gettin’ a hold of this whole college thing....

Excuse this post, because I’m about to become a huge fangirl.
I’m seeing the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block tomorrow (well technically today.)
As much as I love my classic rock and my 60s music and all that good quality stuff, I’m such a sucker for my 90s boybands.

Today was such a nice day.
For the rest of the summer, I’m going to volunteer on Thursday’s at a school for children with Autism. I’m close with the director of the school and other faculty there, and I’ve been volunteering with children with Autism for around seven years now. This is the field I plan on going into, so I figured why not volunteer at the school once a week...

It’s been quite a long, eventful two weeks: a whirlwind, almost. A lot has changed in just a mere 14 days or so.
My dad got out of the hospital last week and had a procedure which is helping him to breathe better. He said he feels great, which is good to hear. He’s been from doctor to doctor and now finally on Wednesday he’s beginning Chemo and radiation.

It’s nice to know that someone is thinking of you, and wants to reconnect with you, and be with you again.

i love it when you absorb someone else’s smell after spending time with them and suddenly their scent is all you smell and it’s all over you and it’s such a lovely reminder of that person, and you can’t help but to smile and revel in such a wonderful aroma until it slowly fades away.

le sad face, le sigh.
super super busy lately.
Had prom and graduation this past weekend and they were both fantastic. I had such a wonderful time with friends and family, it was perfect, and I have a crushhhhhmaybemoremaybeeeeeee.
Then yesterday everything went back to reality, the little weekend getaway of carelessness and happy diminished and real life set in.
