and the stone said strength
It’s been quite a long, eventful two weeks: a whirlwind, almost. A lot has changed in just a mere 14 days or so.
My dad got out of the hospital last week and had a procedure which is helping him to breathe better. He said he feels great, which is good to hear. He’s been from doctor to doctor and now finally on Wednesday he’s beginning Chemo and radiation.
Now that everything’s set with all of that, my mom has calmed down a bit, which is good. She was so stressed and crazy and snapped at me a couple times, calling me a “selfish bitch” and whatnot, but it seems like everyone is in positive “let’s beat this” spirits, which is nice.
Also, due to my dad’s cancer, we have “gone organic.” Oh god. Our new favorite haven is Whole Foods, which I now love. They have delicious Indian food which I have had for lunch twice now. A lot of the foods we’ve been having are actually really good, and I don’t mind eating at home more often. It’s healthier, so why not? Might as well get into good eating habits now, you know?
And now for a delicious, non-organic Chinese dinner :)
